Hand drawing on photos in Snapchat has become something of an artform, with some Snapchatters able to construct amazingly intricate overlays on their pictures - like this from illustrator Adam Kovar (who runs a Facebook page dedicated to his Snapchat art).
The ability to hand draw additions onto your photos has been a popular option - so popular, in fact, that Facebook has taken notice, introducing pretty much the exact same functionality for your Facebook photos.
Called, 'Doodle', the new feature is being rolled out to iOS and Android users right now - so you may already have access. To use it, all you do is select a photo you want to upload to Facebook, then click on 'Edit' (as per the first image in the above set). Once selected, you'll see the new 'Doodle' option at the bottom right of screen.
Once selected, you can pick a color and start drawing - you can switch colors by using the color bar down the right-hand side of the screen, and you can adjust the size of your brush by holding your finger on a color and sliding to the left
It's a small, simple addition that will no doubt prove popular amongst some user groups. And why wouldn't it? It's fun and it gives you a new way to add creative elements to your photos.
Expect to see an influx of crudely drawn shapes and speech bubbles flowing through your Facebook feed anytime soon.
