The “Email is Dead” theme is so last year, this year’s classic is the “RSS is Dead” debate, resurfacing every three months or so.
Today it was likely sparked by the Googlers themselves, prompting Sam Diaz @ Between the Lines quickly declare he was no longer using feed readers. But Marshall Kirkpatrick says he “uses RSS all day long, and anyone who is competitive in their field and doesn’t just might be crazy.”
I’m somewhere in-between, but definitely closer to Marshall, still relying on my feed reader heavily. To be honest, we don’t even agree between us, CloudAve authors – to demonstrate how differently we drink from the fountain of information, here are just a few of the relevant CloudAve posts:
