10 Tips for a LinkedIn Profile That Gets Noticed [INFOGRAPHIC]

We’ve talked before about creating a LinkedIn Showcase Page for your small business. And what that’s definitely an important milestone in any business’s marketing evolution, what about the entrepreneur who started it? In many cases, businesses start out as one person offering a product or service – like a photographer, accountant, blogger, or a wedding planner. In these cases, the first step might be to make the most of something you should already have: your personal LinkedIn Profile.

If you don’t have a personal profile, now is the time to set one up. If you do have one, take this opportunity to set it up for business success by following the advice in the infographic below from LinkHumans.com.

In addition to 10 useful tips, this infographic also points out some very interesting statistics about getting found on LinkedIn that should motivate you to make the most of this platform:

  • Including your skills can earn you up to 13 times more profile views
  • Your profile is 5 times more likely to be viewed if you join relevant LinkedIn Groups
  • Simply including the industry you operate in can get you up to 15 times more profile views
