Sales whether practiced with traditional methods or the new Social Media tools, TRUST is key. Social Media platforms and strategies will be amplified either positive or negative by your clients trust and engagement.

Brands need to realise that:
1. Communities are hungry for their support and participation, not just their adverts.
2. Social media means much more than just Twitter, Facebook, or the current fad.
3. Social implies two-way conversations. That means engagement. (Refer back to point 1).
Nov 1 Posted 4 years ago Good perspective. I was waiting for some actual deal trails, though. In my book, I provide readers with screen captures of incoming traffic from social media domains and follow them all the way through to the signed contract. That's the meat I'm wanting more of from others.

We all know that social media is a communication tool but businesses want to see a direct link between social communication and either sales, customer retention, PR, brand building, marketing, recruitment or product development. It makes me smile sometimes because I never hear businesses ask about what their ROI is on their telephone or their email but they always ask it of social media.
However reading the above it feels very promising that more and more businesses are taking this space seriously.
