5 New Content Monetization Services You May Not Know About

Making money from your website or blog is one the main objectives for many webmasters. Whether you run a blog or a business website, monetizing your site to make some extra money can be very beneficial for your business.

There are many ways to make money from your website. In addition to advertising networks that let you earn money by displaying ads on your site, there are other effective ways to make money by monetizing content.

Website owners and bloggers have been successfully monetizing content to generate revenue for quite some time. However, in spite of the many monetization options, it’s not always easy for publishers to make money online. Competition among publishers is fierce and website owners need to be savvy and come up with new ways to generate revenue.

In this post we will take a look at some of innovative and effective methods to monetize your content. Here are 5 new monetization services to make money from your content you may not know about.

1. Monetize Your Content With Kindle Publishing For Blogs

All you need to do is add it to Kindle’s publishing platform and start making money from your existing content. This facility is currently available only to UK and US residents only.

Although you will only get 30 percent share of total revenue generated, it can still be good source of added revenue for your blog content.

You can get started and earn money by  installing the content discovery widget on your website and sharing links on social platforms. This allows you to maximize your potential revenues as it extends your reach to a larger audience.

5. WebAnswers – Get Paid to Answer Questions

Content monetization - WebAnswers

WebAnswers is a unique AdSense revenue-sharing Question and Answer site where you can get paid to answer questions. Its simplicity and earning potential really make it a great site.

There are two main ways to earn money on this site. You earn ongoing advertising royalties on all questions awarded to your account via “Best Answer”. Additionally, you have the opportunity to earn a share of revenue generated by displaying advertisements on your behalf on other areas of the site. Your share is calculated via a proprietary formula used on this site. The more value you provide, the higher will be your revenue potential.

Conclusion

Kent,

You are right. Kindle is great. It not only has an ever increasing user-base that you can target with your content, but if you already have a blog with good content then you do not have to do anything else to start earning by syndicating it on the Kindle Blog Publishing Platform.

Dear Mark,

Thank you for suggesting Socialkik. I use Hootsuite regularly and am aware of Socialbakers but I don't know much about Socialkik yet. I will make sure to check it out. Thank you for your suggestions.

It would seem (at least for me) that people are somewhat lost on how to approach content marketing lately - besides sharing posts via social platforms, that is. This is timely post for me Kay; I'm always looking for new ideas to generate and maximize efforts for better campaigns. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Coffy Group,

I cannot agree with you more that a lot of people don't know how to go about content marketing. Altghough Content marketing has been a hot topic in marketing circles for a few years now, I think the concept is still relatively new among small businesses and many other end users. The real explosion in content marketing is yet to come I believe.

Great post Kay, one question regarding the Kindle blogs part.. could publishers simply copy existing blog posts to the kindle blog feature, or would seperate blogs be required, thinking more in the realms of seo, but wasnt sure of the answer

Charlie,

Yes indeed. In fact this is one of the best features I like about the Kindle Blog Publishing Platform. If you have an existing blog, you can simply add your RSS feed so all your content will automatically become available on Kindle. If someone accesses your content, you get paid. It is seamless and requires no effort once the initial set-up is done. Try it. It will only take a few minutes of your time.
