For me the thing that attract most is the title and some parts of content should be in bold that writers think can pitch the readers.
Then comes the first para. This is the gist that tells everything about the blog and from here only readers decide whether or not they go on reading.
The reader looks for something new, interesting and easy to understand stuff.
