Do you need to resize, filter or make a collage out of photos? Pixlr is a free, Photoshop alternative that lets you edit images online via your desktop, phone or tablet browser. Pixlr’s interface resembles Photoshop’s toolbox, windows and includes all of the standard image adjustments (brightness/contrast, color correction, etc), layers and layer masks, filters, and healing/clone tools. Pixlr supports many image types including JPEG, PSD, GIF, PNG, and BMP.

    Can i suggest an 8th?

    MavSocial ( allows you to upload, store (in the cloud) and organise (via meta tags) all your social media visual content (images, video etc) - content can then be easily searched, accessed, repurposed and edited via the  inbuilt photo editor to enhance, add text, filters etc

    In addition 

    • access 70m stock images (Getty & BigStock) (for a very small cost per image)
    • Create campaigns and pubish to multiple social media networks

    All the above functionality is available in the Free version!

    Hey Emily, really like the effect you've used for the images you shared. Also - no mention of Canva in here? Stunner! It's been all over the place, I thought Canva would be here as well - but a good change of pace to not see it mentioned. ;)
