Posted on June 5th 2014
With so many social media tools readily available to us, it can be difficult to keep up. Social media is constantly evolving and because of this, great tools can be easily missed. There are tools that I use on a daily basis to help with my social media marketing but there are some that I come across which I didn’t even know existed. Here are 7 social media marketing tools you probably haven’t come across, until now.
A relatively new tool that allows you to monitor all online activity based on a searchable keyword. Brand24 is a more in-depth alternative to the countless free monitor tools and has been used by the likes of Ikea and Panasonic. Definitely worth the free trial.
Quora is a great forum based on asking questions to get an answer from an expert within the social media industry. Users can ask, answer and edit questions on a huge variation of topics. If you are looking for answers within the social media marketing world, Quora is a great place to go.
Sometimes Facebook’s own analytical tool can be confusing and not all that accurate so here is an alternative. PostAcumen will provide you with actionable information which you can use to better your performance specifically on Facebook. Great in-depth analytical tool that anyone can use.
If you are creating a lot of video’s of your products, ViewBix may be the tool to help you drive more leads. ViewBix will allow you to add an opt-in form at the beginning, middle or end of your video to capture as many leads as possible.
Before you get excited about OptinMonster, it is specifically a WordPress plug-in. Regardless of its specificity, OptinMonster is a tool that you probably haven’t heard of that could help you gain email subcribers on your WordPress site. Completely free to install, it is one of the best pop up forms for you to integrate into your website.
6. Little Bird
Little Bird is a great tool that I have been personally using. It is a tool that finds companies based on a specific search term. The first picture shows you the dashboard based on a search explaining who I am and am not connect to and the second picture shows an email about contacts from another search.
A site that I love and have for a long time is Social Media Examiner. There are a lot of social media news sites out there but this is one that shares valuable and relevant information around the social media industry. If you want to keep up to date with your knowledge on social, this site is a great one to keep an eye on.
