An excvellent article. It reasonates with my epxeriences as well. This probably worth rereading periodically as a reminder to maintain focus :-)

Danielle, thanks for sharing this - all good points. #4 here is often #1 in our rules for sharing.
It is easy to get lost in yourself when sharing socially. What is important to you, your company and the brands you represent can cloud what you share. We think that what is important to us must be important to our friends and followers, right? Knowing, understanding and genuinely speaking to your audience is a must for success in social sharing.
