Celebs Who Quit Twitter [INFOGRAPHIC]
Celebrities quit Twitter. Sometimes to do damage control (Chris Brown, Ashton Kucher), sometimes to generate publicity (Kanye West), sometimes inexplicably (Jennifer Love Hewitt). In any event, it’s become quite common for celebrities to quit Twitter. In the not so distant future, celebrities may do the anti-Warhol and forsake 15 minutes of celebrity.

Below is an infographic from HuffPo detailing the celebrities who have given themselves Twitter time-outs. Let me know what you think of that practice.

I’ll leave you with one last thought, though. The man who wrote the following tweet cannot under any circumstance be allowed to quit Twitter. Ever. I open the debate.

This reminds me of when Stephen Fry quit in 2009.  However many of his fans persauded him to stick around.

He wrote: "Think I may have to give up on Twitter. Too much aggression and unkindness around,"
