I have said it several times in the past and with the latest news from F/B. Facebook has always been geared towards the mighty dollar.
Why would anybody waist their money on Ad marketing or any other form of marketing when its not going to be seen by 80% of your friends, and probably nothing outside of that.
I have been criticized over my thoughts about F/B before, and that's good as everybody has their prefferences. There are far to many other social networks that your business will be seen by millions. My favorites are Twitter and Linkedin, and using WordPress for my blogging. I like Stumbleupon, Digg, Tweetmeme, and Blog Engage to mention a few. If we had to depend solely on F/B for our business needs we wouldn't break even let alone make money.
The best information I have been given is your blog is the heart of you marketing campaign and that is where I'm putting my money and effort. I was also told that there is no need for advertising your website, store, in my case, anyway, what better way to get business to your site then from your blog.
