Famous Couples’ Social Presences

Is there anything more nauseating than celebrity PDA? Perhaps celebrity PDA on social media? Famous couples have taken to social media marketing platforms like Twitter and Instagram to share anecdotes, messages of support, and kissy-face selfies with and to the ones they love. We’ve gathered up a few of the most popular couples using social media right now to provide in-depth analysis of how these pairs interact. Because we’re all about the hard-hitting news around here.

Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis

A few years ago, we would have definitely been writing about Ashton and Demi, but times change, and while Mila isn’t really on social media all that much, Ashton is as active as ever. And ever since the couple announced they’re getting married and are expecting their first child together, the cutesy selfies have been flowing. Case in point:

Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom

Sure, they’re sort of on the outs–or maybe they’re getting back together now? Who knows!–but one thing is for certain: when Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are in love, they’re really, really in love. Khloe was always posting photos of their joint clothing line, Rich Soil:

And Lamar was always tweeting positive, supportive things:

So, they’re not together right now but they’re relationship was so public, it still reverberates across social media today. Yeah, I said reverberates!

Beyonce & Jay-Z

These two warm even my cynical heart because they actually seem to be really, you know, in love. Their affection for one another is well-documented, not just on social media but in music videos and live performances. Beyonce’s Instagram is loaded with photos of herself, of course, but an occasional image of the pair together on stage and off shows up, too:

Jay-Z is on Twitter and Facebook, of course, but he’s not quite so active. So here’s a photo of the whole family you can gush over:

Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka

Can they be any cuter? Seriously. Neil Patrick Harris–who just rapped up a truly legen…wait for it…dary nine-year run on How I Met Your Mother–and a David Burtka are two cute for words and they share that cuteness with the rest of the world via social media. In fact, just yesterday Neil wished his hubby a happy 10th anniversary on Instagram (cross-posted to his Twitter account, @ActuallyNPH, of course):

A few days earlier, David posted this photo of Neil at their anniversary dinner:

They’re pretty neck and neck when it comes to social media sharing as a couple.

Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag

These two are not cute. I’m not talking physical appearances here. I’m referring to their behavior. They’re online behavior could be described as desperate at its very best. They’ve recently admitted to faking fights and breakups in order to get paid by the gossip magazines. But when it comes to social media, it’s Spencer who’s always about the PDA. And not in a good way. He can’t stop talking about his wife’s body and it’s creeping us out:

It’s not all out gross but knowing what we know of Spencer, it’s definitely got a creeper vibe. Dude, you’re embarrassing all of us!
