  • Dec 11 Posted 9 years ago NewMediaWise I can't believe no one's found the typo in the widget yet.  Somebody can't spell "social"....  :-)

Also, it should be sized so it can fit a standard Typepad sidebar column....
it's too wide.  (I tried putting in on my other blog: www.Tech-Surf-Blog.com.)  Another problem I saw was a white shadow below it. So, I took it down.
  • Oct 30 Posted 9 years ago ShawnSires Great Question.  First let me say that we are proud to be associated with the folks at SMToday!
The top nav buttons are there for a couple of reasons.
    1) Tune - in the future we will add additional channels and each user will be able to "tune" the Vortex to their own personal interests
    2) Tell-a-Friend  - to allow users to share the Vortex directly through the tell-a-friend email
    3) Reset the Vortex and help
We are hoping that these options will increase the personalization and usefulness of the Vortex.
    Send me any comment directly

Can you offer a version without the top nav options? In other words, just the branded SMT scroller. The top nav offers options taht aren't really applicable when embedded elesewhere. (Or, I'm just missing something...very likely the case.)
