How to Be a Local Search Superhero [INFOGRAPHIC]
Posted on December 18th 2013
Let’s face it: most local business owners and marketers don’t have a ton of time to dedicate to digital marketing. Time is precious, so learning the nuances and technicalities of digital marketing just doesn’t seem like a practical endeavor for many of them.
That truth was a driving factor behind the creation of our newest infographic. I wanted to create a resource that local small business marketers who want better search engine visibility can use to prioritize their digital marketing needs.
Google uses hundreds of factors to determine rank, but we centered the infographic around review generation and management because it represents the most time- and cost-efficient way to quickly improve rank for important local search keywords (like “Madison bankruptcy attorney,” or “Italian food Middleton,” for example).
And while review generation is a great way to improve your local business’ presence on Google and other search engines, but it also has more obvious benefits, like offering searchers social proof and strengthening your brand online.
We touch on some other important local SEO techniques in this infographic as well, but I strongly recommend you get our free guide to local search engine optimization for a more complete explanation. Enjoy!
