Social media marketing can then be used to promote the weirdness of your brand. Social media marketing is a vehicle to express the difference of your brand. It allows, indeed demands, personality to be added to the product or service.
Sometimes there is a desire in business to conform. Sometimes though when we conform, we make it harder for our customers to distinguish us from our competitors. Brand development is not about conforming to brand rules but informing customers about why you are different.
