Given the increasing importance placed on blogging as a content marketing tactic for businesses, you might be forgiven for thinking that most marketer's would make blogging a priority.
Well, research from Passle surprisingly suggests otherwise. In a survey of over 802 marketers from the US, UK and Canada in July/August 2013, we found that 70% of marketers said they were unable to keep an updated blog, of more than 3 posts a year.
Given that the benefits of blogging are well understood, and that 3 blog posts a year is not a very high benchmark, it is shocking that this statistic is so low. The full findings from this piece of Passle research is presented in this infographic:
