Great article. It's interesting how Instagram seems to share pictures in a different way than Facebook. You are definitely correct when you say IG is all about communicating through images, which is why I believe it is such a useful tool for companies. A picture is worth a thousand words and nobody has the time to read a written post nowadays. An image gets the company's point across immediately, and piques fans' interest.
But you have to be careful, as the IG community does NOT appreciate selling. You better contribute something to the conversation, and then you can build a following.
