Audrey Breeze is a young Atlantan with big dreams. As the creator of audreybreeze.com, she talks about social issues through the lens of entertainment. Audrey believes entertainment news - music, film, television, fashion - is a way to reach people regardless of cultural differences. Through her blog and podcast, as well as video, Audrey finds a way to approach important issues. One recent post shared singer Olivia's latest music video "Walk Away" about a woman in an abusive relationship. Another celebrated Martin Luther King Day with videos from King's 1965 appearances on Meet the Press, then asked the question, "What are you doing on your day of service?" Audrey says her viewers are very honest with her. In turn, she hopes to be a positive influence in their lives by always reminding them to "go for greatness no matter the odds."
About the series: The Culture of Content Creation is a video series about people who make their own digital content for sharing - such as blogs, podcasts, wiki entries, online product reviews or videos - to learn why they do it, what they find rewarding, and how they view their role in the world. Started in early 2008, this cultural media project from Elastic Lab continues today, reflecting changes in technology, knowledge, and the social fabric of the Internet.
