One other I should have mentioned is Chris Brogan and Julien Smith's Trust Agents. I was lucky enough to have moderated a conversation with them about the book last fall, and got a free copy. Great read.

Great list but I would be reading a lot of Sphinn and Tip'd. I read a lot of social media and financial blogs during any time of the year as these topics never lose their touch. There is an article "9 Steps to Diagnosing Lost Search Engine Traffic" in Sphinn submitted on July 2. Do give it a read.

More companies today are using the data gathered from social media interactions to inform their internal business processes. SAP, SAS and IBM have all entered this space along with many other companies which handle measurement, monitoring and interpretation of this information. There is a nice free Ebook available at CIOWhitepapers.com on how Social Media Ties in to Business Intelligence. It's well worth a read. Check it out here
