Charlie Curran is a visual storyteller currently living and working in Chicago. At the time this video was made, Charlie was a student at the Savannah College of Art & Design where he co-developed a new-media project, I'm In The Social, to explore the role of imagery in growing online social communities. But check out his latest efforts at Content Connects Us, and you'll find he has stayed true to, and continues to evolve, his beliefs in the social internet. Today, Charlie's company develops photography and video-driven social media campaigns for brands.
About the series: The Culture of Content Creation is a video series about people who make their own digital content for sharing - such as blogs, podcasts, wiki entries, online product reviews or videos - to learn why they do it, what they find rewarding, and how they view their role in the world. Started in early 2008, this cultural media project from Elastic Lab continues today, reflecting changes in technology, knowledge, and the social fabric of the Internet.
