Obtain Sales Online Through Clever SEO Marketing

Have you ever thought about how Google categorizes each of the 643,011,029-webpage results in .40 seconds? Did you know that there is an exact algorithm that Google, Bing, and Yahoo use? Were you also aware that YouTube is the world’s second largest search engine?

There is also an answer to the algorithm that we will try and explain to help you generate sales online through search engine marketing, which can include organic search results through web pages or videos.  

But before we give you all of the secrets in generating sales online through SEM we should define a few keywords. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are some of the most important tools you will need to generate sales and conversions online through a website.

Many important factors are taken into consideration when optimizing a website. In most cases they revolve around the search engine’s algorithm, mainly Google. To generate sales and rank high on a Google search there are three steps, or main areas you should focus on. These include, optimizing your website to increase web traffic (1), find keywords within your market that your customers are searching for (2), and obtain conversions by analyzing your organic traffic (3).

1. How to optimize your website/video to increase web traffic.

To optimize your website and increase web traffic you have to follow the search engines algorithm. This isn’t a simple process where you add a few keywords within a page and BOOM you are on pg.1 of Google. Page rank, domain authority and page authority are the key components in which Google and other search engines generate order authority a webpage. In order to gain a high rank and authority you need people to recognize that you exist, in essence you need people to visit your site, the more the better. The easiest way to gain webpage visits is to share links on social media and other valuable websites.

To optimize videos, make sure the title tag on YouTube incorporates keywords that you want to appear high in the search query. You’ll also want to make sure websites are linking and sharing your video, as this will help show the popularity to Google’s search engines!

2. Figuring out the keywords that your customers are searching for online.

In figuring out what keywords work best for you there are a few different ways to start. Have a clear understanding of your business better than any one else, be specific and target a demographic, try different variations of keywords in an A/B test, or use Google’s keyword tool. But, the number one way for figuring out keywords that your customers are searching for is to know your audience, after all the customers are who you want to target.

To effectively gain conversions and sales, you need to have a method of analyzing traffic to your site. The best and most effective way of tracking your organic traffic is Google Analytics. Getting Google Analytics is easy, you can just register on the site and it will give you a snippet of code that will go on each page of your website. Your web person can do this if it wasn’t installed when your site was built. Most hosting companies come with a C-panel backend that measures traffic; even so I highly recommend getting Google Analytics for accuracy.

Now you should have a better understanding of optimizing your website to increase web traffic, find keywords within your market that your customers are searching for, and obtain conversions by analyzing your organic traffic. Just remember there is a lengthy process for optimizing a site, but with some research and professional help your site can be on pg. 1 of Google!
