One of the most pressing questions I get from new bloggers is, "I wrote a bunch of posts... now, how do I promote my blog?"
The enthusiastically wrote a bunch of posts, yet no one is reading them. It's quite frustrating to find the stats frozen in the single digits - with the majority of views coming from a family member and a few friends.
In addition to that, there's just so much to know when it comes to Facebook, Twitter, and the myriad of voting sites and other social networks. I often get overwhelmed just trying to answer the question - I can imagine how the new blogger must feel trying to digest it all.
Luckily, promoting your blog doesn't have to be such an enigma - thanks to Kristi Hines, an amazing blogger over at Kikolani.com. She is definitely a woman who knows her stuff. I often look to her blog for guidance when I'm trying to break out of a plateau. On top of that, she's just an all around great person who's always willing to help.
So, I wanted to let you know (if you hadn't heard) about her new ebook, The Ultimate Blog Post Promotion Guide.
I seriously had to snatch this one up for myself because there's always room to learn something new - especially when you're serious about growing and leveraging your blog.
In this 71-page book, Kristi even shows you which promotional methods are most appropriate for the type of results you want to see and even how to measure those results.
So if you've been baffled and confused and not exactly sure how to go about promoting your blog - or even if you have an idea, but want to maximize your efforts or even learn a few new tricks, this book is definitely worth a try.
What has been your experience with promoting your blog? Are your seeing the kinds of results you'd hoped for? What has worked best for you?
