Media has always played a role in driving social change. The timeline includes: Acta Diurna: the First Daily Gazette (Circa 131 BCE), the first regularly printed English newspaper in 1624, the first radio new broadcast in 1920, and Twitter, a microblogging service launched in 2006.
Today we have social networks (such as Facebook), and information networks (such as Twitter). Both of these types of social technologies offer tremendous potential to further change the world.
