Awesome article, you really cover this well, the amount of detail you have went to is amazing. I like the fact you still like myspace even though everyone is saying it is dead when in fact among bands it is very much alive!
Much like bandspaces I also create s#mce_temp_url# for bands and individuals. There are a lot of social networking websites out there and a lot of them allow great customising features. There are a lot of great designers out there too and my tip for anyone wanting a design is to research the designer first and make sure they are up to the challenge.

StageIt.com is another up and coming social media website similar to Ustream and Livestream except artists can charge fans for tickets to these shows.

Ive been searching the net for a site like pagerage for ages the only one I found was a site called wix.com
now i can compare each site for their different features. Im new to written blogs this was my first blog(still got a lot to learn) but my goal is to inform others, so the more infomation i find the more useful I will be to my readers.

If a band has a page on Facebook, they can now add layouts to their profile page as well using a browser plugin called PageRage. The great thing about this app is that a band can create their own layouts, using their band images and market to the fans by amplifying their page. Pretty cool, check it out: www.pagerage.com
