Great article, Nathan! Such mediums are very much useful for an aspirant real estate agent as well as for the established one. Social media can be a powerful medium to communicate information about properties. Social networking sites have really created a great platform for marketing.

Using a social + mobile strategy at open houses to get people finding out about an agents Facebook Page would be a great method to draw on existing leads.
Real estate agents may find my recent ebook - The Complete Guide to Facebook Content Marketing - a good starting point for creating a social media strategy!
