Great post. Deciding when and what to blog, tweet and retweet as well as what social media apps to use are all critical decisions for a content curator. Blogging is, indeed, the number one way to shape and reinforce your brand digitally. It allows you to position your organization as thought leaders with the primary objective of creating and curating content that addresses the needs and interests of your audience.
In terms of social media apps, make sure you include all different venues you plan to use in your marketing plan. That way, you can focus your efforts on finding the right content and editorializing appropriately. Having a schedule, and knowing when you will be hitting up Twitter, Facebook, or your blog lets you plan ahead; gathering the right content from the appropriate sources and adding insight to properly brand your content.
