Last week, Robin Carey got a chance to sit down with Shannon Lee, a principal at Precision Strategies. Shannon was in charge of paid digital media strategy for the Obama 2012 re-election campaign; she directed budget and media targeting for the campaign's online advertising programs across fundraising, persuasion and voter turnout goals. She was behind the largest paid online voter registration effort in political campaign history, directly helping to register over 250,000 new voters through the use of paid search, social, digital display and mobile media. Clearly, Shannon has proven herself to be a leader in digital marketing, capable of wielding data to get powerful results, and we were thrilled to be able to speak with her.
Here's what Robin and Shannon talked about.
