Very interesting but not surprising. We study the 18-24 year old demo at the Missouri School of Journalism and we have seen this trend away from Facebook. It was inevitable as teh 50+ population grew. We see this group using Instagram, Kik and other group sharing programs which don't require "friending." This generation also sees nothing strange with online only friends. Given the number of adults who find marriage partners via online dating sites, should we really be surprised?
