How many tools do you use for managing your Facebook marketing?
When it comes to online advertising, the biggest misconception is that you can use a social media platform without tools and still drive an influencer level of traffic and engagement.
This is simply not true for ninety-nine percent of us.
When it comes to marketing, there's one theory that separates those who succeed and those who fail, and that is the law of averages.
Jim Rohn, an author and motivational speaker, famously said, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." The one part he missed was that this also applies to the marketing resources you use.
There are countless tools and resources to help you engage fans and get leads on Facebook. However, the only way to take your preferred social media channel to the next level is to carefully pick some of them to use.
So, what separates great resources from the bad ones?
Specificity.
Many platforms cater to not just Facebook, but to Twitter, Instagram, and your website. The truth is you want a platform that caters to just Facebook. That's how you dominate a social media platform. The common saying is a "jack of all trades, master of none." With Facebook recently hitting the benchmark of 1 billion active users in a single day, it's time we take this platform more seriously.
Here are five resources for your Facebook marketing that care only about mastering Facebook giving them an extra punch:
1. AdEspresso
If you run Facebook Ads and have not heard of AdEspresso, then you're losing out. AdEspresso has become the go-to for running ads. The reason is that they over-deliver on every aspect. At first, I was skeptical about using a third-party software to run my Facebook Ads, and then when I saw the user-friendly interface, I was immediately hooked. Even if you have zero experience with Facebook Ads, you'll find AdEspresso far easier to grasp than Power Editor.
AdEspresso allows you to preview your ads as you create different combinations with ad copy and images. This enables you to get a quick grasp on how your ads look before you spend any money. Moreover, it makes A/B testing extremely easy, so if one ad is not performing well for you, then you can cancel the ad in a matter of seconds.
The biggest limitation of Power Editor is imprecise targeting. Its interest targeting works with an "OR." For example, if you are advertising to people who are interested in: "Social Media Today" and "Jon Loomer Digital," Facebook will consider users who have expressed an interest in just one - not both.
AdEspresso solved this issue by integrating an option for utilizing an "AND." The best part is that you can analyze your results with a breakdown by interest.

2. 22Social
This is the most advanced app for any Facebook Fan Page. Many of their features are far and beyond what most people even realize is possible with Facebook. As an early beta tester for one of their new features released last month, I built one of the first digital courses on Facebook. No coding was involved, and the process was made simple with pre-made templates. The media areas, copy, and design took only a couple of hours to put together.
Unlike digital courses you hold on third-party websites, this app allows Facebook pixeling and integrates with many other retargeting software. The app even allows you to hold live Hangouts, sell digital products, and podcast from your Facebook Fan Page. Pretty remarkable.
Take a look at the course I created on Facebook:
3. Jon Loomer Digital
Yes, there are many other Facebook marketers in the digital space, but Jon Loomer is the only one I subscribe to. The reason is that he doesn't take content from around the internet and give it to you; instead, he stays on the cutting-edge and writes about every new feature in a pragmatic way. Moreover, he's not afraid to try new things.
Just recently, I watched him attempt to use Facebook Mentions and fail over and again until it started working. He'll do whatever it takes to stay on the front lines of Facebook marketing even if it means going through numerous Facebook live streaming takes just to get one right. It's admirable.
He's not only one of the most cutting-edge Facebook marketers right up there with Mari Smith, but a genuine person with a "tell it like it is" attitude. Plus, his blog is continuously updated with phenomenal content.
One more try?

4. Gyratics
Facebook groups are one of the best mediums to create and engage a community. It's not easy because members need to post great content and interact with each other to make a Facebook group worth checking in on. With Gyratics, you can take your Facebook group to another level.
The software gives you advanced analytics on Facebook group members, likes, comments, and best-performing posts. You can easily export this data, too. Moreover, the software allows you to post a leaderboard recognizing those who participate in the group the most.
5. Events
If you're not using Facebook events, then you need to start doing so immediately. The reason is that Facebook events are one of the few tools on the internet to bring people together. It's the closest substitute to Meetup. Not everyone is on Meetup, but almost everyone is on Facebook.
I regularly hold Facebook events to bring different communities together from social media marketers to friends playing fantasy football. It's great for keeping in touch with your network.
You now have the tools. Are you ready to master Facebook marketing?
