From May 23 - May 29, 2016, U.S. brands and properties captured 537 million total actions (likes, shares and comments) from Facebook posts. Powered by Shareablee data, the top brand on Facebook for each respective industry is shown in the ranking below.
Tasty (Media Publisher) was number one in the ranking with nearly 11.6 million Facebook actions, also scoring the highest actions per post at more than 340,000. Tasty's most-engaged posts were video recipe tutorials for Mozzarella Stick Onion Rings, Deep-Fried Blooming Onions, and One-Pan Baby Back Ribs. NBA (Sports) ranked second with more than 5.4 million actions driven by posts celebrating comebacks by the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets.
Red Bull (Consumer Goods) saw a 21% growth in Facebook video actions, propelling the brand to the number three spot in the ranking, with top posts featuring videos of motorbike stunts and races.
Of the top performing brands, DISH (Telecommunications) saw the highest growth in Facebook actions over the previous week at 13,459%, driven by a post promoting its Home Improvement sweepstakes.
