From September 19 - September 25, 2016, U.S. brands and properties captured 448 million total actions (likes, shares and comments) from Facebook posts. Powered by Shareablee data, the top brand on Facebook for each respective industry is shown in the ranking below.
Tasty (Media Publisher) was number one in the ranking with nearly 9.1 million Facebook actions, also scoring the highest actions per post at more than 173,000. Tasty's most-engaged posts were video recipe tutorials for Chicken & Veggie Stir-Fry, Chicken Teriyaki Stir-Fry, and Chicken Spinach Bacon Alfredo. NFL (Sports) ranked second with more than 1.8 million actions driven by posts highlighting the game of Houston vs. New England and Philadelphia vs. Pittsburgh.
BarkBox (Retail) claimed third place led by post featuring Yuma the Frenchie. Cricket Wireless (Telecommunications) saw the highest growth in Facebook actions over the previous week at 13,220%, driven by a post promoting its #STSA campaign.
