I am a passionate advocate for the use of social collaboration tools in business. With around twenty years of experience designing, developing and deploying such systems I am experienced in the technical and human aspects of business collaboration.

I believe in practising what I preach and enjoy coaching others in new ways of working, based on practicality, to make use of social collaboration. As a result I find people save time, money, are more productive and find work more rewarding and interesting.

I have a scientific background with a degree in Chemistry, IT and Instrumentation and started my professional career as a software developer. Nowadays I don't build servers or write code any more but I appreciate and understand the effort involved in getting it right.
