Thanks Michael I really appreciate you taking the time to provide such comprehensive feedback. I 100% agree about respecting the native experience of each social media channel. I hands down favour natural posting over a social media management tool, however depending on the size of your business, resources and volume of communication a management tool may be the best option for operational efficiency.
The disconnect you speak of is very real. Even from an aesthetics point of view Hootsuite has its limitations- for example not getting the full image size on a Facebook link post and not getting an image preview on Twitter which can definitely impact the potency of your content!
To be fair I have been a Hootsuite man since day one and havn’t trialled Buffer extensively. I will give it a proper go over the next month and let you know what I think.
