I just graduated with my B.A. in Marketing from Western Washington University a month ago. I'm interning with my friend and mentor, Gabriel Gervelis, who has graciously taken me under his wing to learn the ways of the marketing world. Competition fuels me to the core. I thrive in situations that require an advanced knowledge and physical abilities in tandem. If all goes well, I will be able to apply this thirst for competition in the business world and excel in any situation. My passion is soccer. I have played since I could walk, it's what gets me up in the morning, it's what helps me sleep at night. I'm a sports junkie, my favorite channel is ESPN...I'm well established on facebook, but new to LinkedIn and even newer to Twitter, but I'm trying to incorporate myself on all these platforms now!
Do you think they will make Graph Search opt-in or opt-out? Or will all Facebook users be forced to transition into using graph search while on facebook? This reminds me of when Facebook launched their Timeline UI back in 2011 to learn personal information about each Facebook user, in order more easily understand how to specifically market ads to them (sidebar ads, popups, etc).
Barry I enjoyed reading all 1,500 of these words. I just graduated from college and this is the brutal honesty that will help me learn the most efficiently in the marketing field, so thanks! I am trying to work my way in the content field as we speak; where would you recommend someone with a relatively new venture go to find acceptable sources to contribute?
