Social science is veyr complicated and close to unpredictable, however it is quite porbable that G+ will overtake Facebook. Recently many of my colleagues switched to Google Plus. I personally think that Google Plus is mostly used for professional purposes nowadays.
Well said, Daniel. At least somebody say how things really are. I am sick of reading misleading guides by A-List bloggers, forums, social media experts and any kinds of pseudo gurus. Not everything is so bright.
It used to sound very interesting until I saw that the basic package cost $499/month, wow! This metric should be extremely good for that much money.
There are many obstacles for non-profit social media marketing and the main problem is financing. I can say this from personal experience. The other major problem is related to social media outside EU and USA, most non-profit efforts rarely receive any funding.
Completely agree, syntethic tests doesn't mean anything at all, starting with Alexa, huge part of SEOMoz Tools, Website Grader and of course Klout. This doesn't work in real world and doesn't prove anything. The only thing that matter is conversion and sales.
Agree, with you black hat works, even the "big boys" are using it. It all depends on personal skills and deep understanding of the latest technology. If it is done properly, results can be impressive.
