Another great way for businesses to use Instagram is to bring their Insta-feed back to their website using a social media aggregator, such as Postano. By bringing it back to their site, their fans can engage with their Instagram content without having to be on Instagram. Postano is also a great tool for monitoring content and activity on Instagram!
Great read, Steve. It's amazing how far a little quality content marketing will go. A great way to monitor your content, your fans' content anf your competitors' content is to use a social media aggregator, like Postano, to watch what everyone is saying; and how people are responding to your content. It's a great tool for content marketing.
Chris- well written! Another way to get even more mileage from your social media content beyond driving content to your website is also having a place on your site for your social content to live (i.e. a web embed, lightbox, etc). Social media aggregators, such as Postano, are great tools in doing just that.
Great post, Michael! I thoroughly agree that the contest needs a home, or a place to live, so that fans can view their own and other entries that come through. A great tool for aggregating Instagram and Twitter hashtags is Postano, a social media aggregation tool.
You mentioned companies being hesitant to aggregate the posts due to the event that undesireable content could show up- the beauty about Postano is that you can moderate all content, and easily delete an undesireable/uncampaign friendly post if it slips through the cracks. It also allows you to embed the feed anywhere- website, microsite, Facebook tab. It's great and worth a look!
Great post, Chris, and I couldn't agree more with you. I'm interested to see how more and more businesses are going to adopt Integrated Digital Marketing in addition to jumping head first into social media. I've seen a few businesses use Postano to both monitor and generate content, increase SMM strategy, boost ROI and improve SEO ratings. It's a great integrated digital marketing tool!
Great post, Deborah! I totally agree- visuals are needed. It's been proven over and over again throughout research that most individuals are visually oriented; therefore, pictures/graphics are a must. I love that social media is rapidly shifting into being more visual.
A great way to unlock the visual power of Twitter and other social content is by using Postano, a social media aggregator, that has the power to "unpack" the visual aspects of content behind the shortlinks. This way, your social media content can be displayed in a beautiful, visually engaging way.
