Remember – the more connected you are with people in your target company and the more groups you share in common with your target buyer, the closer the connection they will be and therefore, the greater the likelihood there names will appear high in your search results.

In the same way analysts look at a set of data and draw conclusions, we need to develop skills to be able to review a person’s LinkedIn profile, comments and updates and draw conclusions about whether that person is important to us or not, and what to do next. The best way to approach this is to look at how you might typically handle meeting someone new in an offline setting. When you meet someone in person, your brain is categorizing them even while you carry on a conversation.
