I spent over twenty years in the motor industry from apprentice technician, Technical Customer Service, Sales Management, General Management and Dealer Principle. My passion has always been in Sales & Marketing, working with many of the top manufacturers and dealer groups in the UK. Motivating teams to cultivate close relationships with clients. I focused on encouraging those in non selling roles to act as ambassadors of the brand. (Quickly learning that word of mouth increases your client base without the high cost of a marketing budget).
After working with several companies and brands as a business trouble shooter. Providing interim senior management assistance to failing motor vehicle dealerships and brands. I looked at several industries and started a Graphic design, Lithographic and Digital Printing Company from the ground up (I love a challenge). With lots of heavy investment in equipment, employees, training and time. I worked on it and in it for over nine years, all the time putting into practice all of my beliefs in the customer experience, providing solutions and ensuring great communication. There were lots of highs, breaking through many barriers in turnover and profit (and some low’s). I was fortunate to receive seven coveted industry awards for excellence and customer service in the UK by Minuteman Press International.
