LinkedIn Reaches 610 Million Members, Publishes New eBook on Social Media Management Tips
Are you looking to get more out of LinkedIn in 2019?
You probably should be - according to parent company Microsoft, engagement on LinkedIn is at record high levels, with more than 610 million professionals now interacting on the platform and looking for new ideas and opportunities.
If you are looking to make LinkedIn more of a focus in 2019, you're in luck - the platform has this week published a new eBook of social media marketing and management tips, based on lessons learned by LinkedIn's own social media management team.
"[In this eBook] we’ll share our best social media management tips, taken from years managing LinkedIn’s own social media presence, in hopes that we can help you increase the impact of your efforts across the funnel. And while I’m ultimately here to make a case for why you should be investing more of your time on LinkedIn, I hope that you can use this guide as a roadmap to success in all of your social media communications."
The guide - available for free via download here - includes a heap of tips and notes from LinkedIn's team, with a specific focus on LinkedIn best practices and Company Page management.
It also includes some valuable LinkedIn data insights, building the business case for the platform.
There's a heap of interesting and helpful insights, and it's worth going over, especially for social media managers who are looking to make LinkedIn a focus.
While it doesn't get as much attention as Facebook or Instagram, LinkedIn has carved out a very specific market niche, and is gradually building its business case day-by-day, with new advertising tools and features designed to help marketers maximize their efforts.
It's not as cool, it's not as B2C-friendly, considering there are fewer bright, interactive Stories-like features on the platform (though it is experimenting with the Stories format), but LinkedIn's working to establish itself as a key, trusted hub for business news and information - and going on the stats noted above, those efforts are working.
The social media marketing case for LinkedIn is growing - and if you're looking to maximize your LinkedIn presence, this new guide is definitely worth a look.
