Historically observed as religious holiday, countries across the nation have grown to recognize Easter as a family tradition of morning brunch and egg hunts.
With the 2014 total holiday spend just under $16 billion, marketers are continuously expanding efforts to tap into the spring celebrations.
For today's holiday blog I went on an Easter ad hunt and rounded up some of the top branded Easter campaigns...so let's hop to it!
1. ASDA
The supermarket's #AsdaChick campaign combines TV and social media in a way that gets viewers dancing along to the beat of low prices.
2. Cadbury
An Easter basket staple, Cadbury chocolate built eggs trails in partnership with properties across the UK to promote a day of sweet family fun.
3. Target
In this Alice in Wonderland-esque spot a curious girl decides to trade her Easter basket for a shopping trip.
4. M&M's
Put some chocolate's in a rabbit costume and have them hide jelly beans...and you've got yourself one quick and quirky holiday ad.
Whether it's winning attention through small animals, egg hunts or chocolate, these Easter campaigns have shown to be a real treat amongst the masses.
