The image-based social network has seen massive growth in the last 18 months - in January this year, Pew Research released data showing that Instagram is the fastest growing social network. Another study, conducted by Locowise in May, found that Instagram is generating more engagement than Facebook. Amidst user migrations from Facebook as a result of privacy concerns and an increasing amount of ads, Instagram appears to be the main beneficiary - which is win-win either way for Zuckerberg's social giant.
