Great spot! I worked with megafanapps and we develop Facebook contest apps. There were many topics about recent Facebook changes and people wrote how number of businesses on Facebook will significantly decrease due to low organic reach. I don't simply agree with you just because we're running contests on Facebook and want more self-promotion, but this fact is really a true one. Facebook is still no.1 social media network where you can find most of your customers.
I would also like to hear some success stories from other guys that have run contests on their Facebook business pages and the way they affected in fan-to-customer conversion process.
