Hi Amanda! I totally love your suggestions here on how to stay on top of SEO changes. One suggestion that I certainly agree is that we need to connect with the community. It is actually one of the best ways to boost our site in search rankings. By doing the real work of connecting with our community and our target audiences, we not only boost our customer base, but also boost our rankings in Google or Bing.

Nice article and i am completely agree with you on point generating quality natural links from relevant websites will work in this era. Here we don't have to worry about any Google updates untill we stick to this policy.
I am just curious about anchor text that is behing used in articles! lets say, keyword rich anchor text that is solaly palced to manipulate search engine ranks may violate search engine guidlines. Is it really true if you are generating relevant links.
for example; in your article, there are few out going links mentioned below:
- The Awl => here domain name as anchor text
- Coke life ad => here it is general or brand name
- SEO Company => Targeted keywords used as anchor text as you can use company name as you did in The Awl !
Do you really think that the link you generated for ereachconsulting website using seo company keyword will considered natural?
