The National Security Agency has gone too far this time around. It has been labeling its actions with the word 'surveillance' but the agency is breaking thousands of surveillance rules every year. NSA was supposed to use cell phone tracking software initially only to monitor Foreign Intelligence agencies. Investigations later revealed that the agency was constantly tracking locations and calls of American citizens instead. To add fuel to the fire, the Foreign Intelligence Court gave approval of all 1857 requests for surveillance in 2012 that the NSA had submitted. NSA's recent Prism project further assists NSA's warrantless use of cell phone tracking. FBI now has the green signal of the Foreign Intelligence Court to collect data. Companies like Verizon provide NSA the required data for monitoring American citizens in return for immunity.
