Seeing as Pinterest is becoming one of the most used social networks (even moreso than Twitter- wild I know!), it's important for organizations to jump on board as soon as possible. And you're totally right- linking your Pinterest page to your Facebook and Twitter accounts is awesome! You save some time, and get even more eyes on your content ~ not to mention, more possibilities of sharing your content as well.
Thanks for the great comment!

This is great to see! Pinterest is an amazing tool for brands but it always seems like marketers are a little confused when they first get started with it. These are some great examples of how to pin correctly! Do you know if it's possible to link a Pinterest Page with a Facebook Page? Sort of like you can link Pinterest with a personal account to have your activity show up, it could be an interesting concept for brands.
