We're just a little over a week away from Halloween weekend, which can only mean one thing: it's time to talk about holiday marketing.
Not what you were expecting?
Google did a heap of research into trends seen during the 2014 holiday season and found that 48% of holiday shoppers did the majority of their shopping on or before Cyber Monday - a quarter of shoppers even had some of their shopping done before Halloween.
In a less surprising stat, 78% of people conducted their holiday shopping research online, of which, 40% went on to make an online purchase. We can only assume this percentage will grow again this year, in which case, we urge you to prepare your website for the holiday rush
