The Culture of Content Creation is a video series about people who make their own digital content to share with the world - such as blogs, podcasts, wiki entries, online product reviews or videos - to learn why they do it, what they find rewarding, and how they view their role in the world. Started in early 2008, this cultural media project from Elastic Lab continues today, reflecting changes in technology, knowledge and the social fabric of the Internet.
"A random circus of taste," features Classy Hands co-founder and primary content editor Lee Keelor. Classy Hands is a quarterly web magazine that digs up often overlooked comedy content online and helps to spread the word. They do create some original content but mainly rely on a network of contributors for their issues. Classy Hands content includes everything including comics, songs, essays, and video. The goal is to spread underground comedy that may not have gotten much attention to the wider web. In this video Keeler discusses the implications of running a site like this as well as the sometimes fickle nature of the Internet. So sit down and have a laugh with, "A random circus of taste."
