Powered by Shareablee data, the top brand on Facebook for each respective industry is shown in the ranking below. WWE (Sports) was the top brand in the ranking with nearly 3.3 million Facebook actions, followed by Bleacher Report (Media Publisher) with more than 2.7 million actions, and BarkBox (Retail) with nearly 1.6 million actions. WWE's success was driven by posts promoting the #SurvivorSeries featuring The Brothers of Destruction. Bleacher Report's posts related to Cristiano Ronaldo's retirement plans and Holly Holm's upset win over Rhonda Rousey topped the media publisher's most socially engaged posts on Facebook. Posts featuring adorable dogs, as well as heartwarming stories of survival and adoption, captured the most Facebook engagement for BarkBox.
Starbucks (QSR) scored the highest actions per post, averaging more than 105K likes, shares, and comments per Facebook post published during the week of November 9 - November 15, 2015. Starbucks' top Facebook posts were dominated by the brand's Veterans Day tribute. Of the top performing brands, GoPro (Consumer Electronics) saw the highest growth in Facebook actions over the previous week at 959%, largely driven by a 3,244% spike in shares, most of which came from its video post featuring Anthony Walsh and Matahi Drollet's surfing in Tahiti.
