Regular readers have seen me write about Darren Herman before (here, here, here and here for example.) He is genuinely one of the smartest and nicest guys working in the New York new media scene, not to mention one of my must-read bloggers.
Well, I'm thrilled that Darren has boiled down his wisdom into a great little book, Coloring Outside the Lines: Confessions of a Digital Native.
I provided one of the blurbs for the back cover, so I'm not going to write a review. But I am going to recommend it if you're interested in practical advice about entrepreneurship, insightful perspectives about the world of new and emerging media, some smart thoughts on marketing, or all of the above -- as seen through the eyes of a guy who has grown up a digital native and now works to design the future of digital media. Coloring Outside the Lines presents a series of articles adapted from Darren's blog, alongside some brand spankin' new material written expressly for the book. It's good stuff.
Coloring Outside the Lines goes on sale today so be sure to check out the book site to learn more or just go buy your copy right now. To sweeten the deal, Darren is investing all profits with entrepreneurs in Africa and Asia.
