This is a busy period, doing my very best to organize Web2.Oltre the first high level event about Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0 and Marketing 2.0 in Italy and one of the few in Europe actually.
I see that my idea of organizing such an event is falling at the right time while some innovative web 2.0 startup receives funds in Italy and in Europe more generally.
This is the time of Trampoline Systems:
London, UK, 15 March 2007 - Trampoline Systems, a London- based enterprise software start-up, has today announced the closing of a £3 million financing round from entities affiliated with the Tudor Group1. Trampoline is the first European "Enterprise 2.0" software developer to receive major investor backing. The investment enables Trampoline to increase sales operations, intensify R&D and establish a strategic presence in North
America. Trampoline brings a fresh approach to information management with technology that harnesses social behaviour in the enterprise. The deal provides further evidence that a new generation of enterprise software, dubbed "Enterprise 2.0", is gaining traction with established organisationsThe company's main application is called SONAR (Social Networks And Relevance), an appliance that plugs into the corporate network and connects to existing systems such as email servers, contact databases and document archives and analyzes data in the systems to build a map of social networks, information flows, expertise and individuals' interests throughout the enterprise
A good signal for other european enterprise 2.0 companies..
